White Pass & Yukon Route
Train/Bus Combination

Experience the ultimate Skagway adventure and take a ride on the world famous White Pass train.  Built in 1898, this engineering marvel provided access to the gold fields for stampeders seeking their fortune during the Klondike Gold Rush.  The narrow-gauge rail travels over trestles, through tunnels, and skirts the majestic mountainsides to an elevation of over 3000 feet affording panoramic views of Skagway and the pristine wilderness to its north.

The train ride ends in beautiful Fraser, British Columbia, which is seated right next to Fraser Lake.  There you will board a bus for a return ride along the scenic Klondike highway all the way back to Skagway.  Waterfalls, glaciers and snow-capped mountain peaks offer unimaginable scenic views.  Wildlife is occasionally spotted on the ride including mountain goats, bears, bald eagles and many more.

The fully narrated train ride will focus on the natural and historical wonders that make Skagway unique.  See the famous "Dead Horse Gulch," Pitchfork Falls, the Welcome to Alaska Sign, and many other sights that keep your camera at the ready.
